Revert groups
IWWA has established a group to cater for reverts or new Muslim sisters. It is held once a month, usually at IWWA's premises or unless advised. It’s an informal social gathering where sister express their feelings, thought, challenges and experiences of embracing Islam. Anyone who is interested about Islam or wants to become a Muslim is also welcomed to join the group.
The event is usually held in the afternoon on a weekend unless advised to give the majority of the sisters to attend the afternoon tea. It is an opportunity for sharing recounts, giving advice and short support talks, including quizzes/games to enjoy as well as a chance to collect Islamic promotional CDs or books.
This event allows sisters to get to know more about IWWA’s classes and services. It also informs the sisters of any upcoming fun and benefited events promoted by IWWA. In’shall Allah we continue to see new faces of Muslimahs from this service.
