Friday Islamic Girls Group
There is no doubt that the youth of today are struggling to understand, apply and practise Islam correctly. It is therefore, through proper knowledge from the Quran and Sunna of Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) that we can revive the youth. IWWA has developed a program every Friday afternoon for teenage girls ( 14-25) to gather around to learn more Islam, ask questions and gain a better understanding of their belief.
The first hour is an informative talk about general beliefs and principles in Islam. Then, a focused theme selected by the girls is informal discussed among the girls and advice is given on how to confront such issues or challenges from the Islamic perspective.
Before departure, the girls plan a fun and interactive upcoming sessions, they would the organisers to support within reasonable grounds such as a sleep-over, excursion, coffee-day out, picnics or party day. When possible, a guest speaker is invited to give a speech or involve the girls in their field of expertise at least once every month/term.
We hope this program, in’shal Allah will benefit the youth and support young girls to be great role models for Islam.
